    TX-NR708 er en 7.2-receiver med nettverkstilkopling for musikkavspilling fra PC og streaming av internettradiostasjoner, som Last.fm, vTuner og Napster (avhengig av område). Nettverkstilkoblingen er DLNA 1.5-sertifisert og Windows 7-kompatibel. I tillegg er USB-inngangen i front sertifisert for direkte tilkobling av iPod og iPhone for digital lydoverføring. THX Select2 Plus™-godkjenning og tretrinns inverterte Darlington utgangstrinn sørger for en ekstra god lydgjengivelse. Audyssey DSX og Dolby Pro Logic IIz gir valg av flere høyttaleroppsett med mer bredde- eller høydeinformasjon. 7 HDMI 1.4-innganger sammen med en rekke andre tilkoblinger som ”pre out”, platespillerinngang, RS232 og PC/VGA-inngang gjør denne receiveren meget velutstyrt.
